About Me
"I believe that therapy doesn't have to ‘feel’ like therapy."
Before we had words, we had gestures, movement, and stories told through action. That’s the heart of play therapy—where communication happens beyond words. Play allows children to explore big feelings in a way that makes sense to them, and I love helping them do just that. Through play, kids can express what they can’t yet verbalize, build emotional awareness, and learn healthy ways to cope with the world around them.
But my work doesn’t stop at the playroom. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults as they navigate the messy, meaningful, and often overwhelming transitions of life. Whether it’s managing anxiety, building motivation, understanding identity, or learning to handle stress, I bring a nonjudgmental, person-centered approach that blends evidence-based strategies—like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP)—with genuine human connection.
My areas of focus include anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, OCD, and body-focused repetitive behaviors like nail biting, skin picking, and hair pulling), ADHD, trauma, behavioral concerns, anger, LGBTQ+ support, and more. No matter the age, I believe in meeting people where they are—whether that’s on the floor with toys, in the thick of teenage uncertainty, or navigating the pressures of early adulthood.
Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s collaborative, empowering, and sometimes even fun (yes, fun!). If you’re looking for someone who can connect with your child, teen, or yourself in a meaningful, developmentally appropriate way—while actually helping them grow—I’d love to be part of the journey.
